First, here are just a few pics from the Bridal Shower I hosted for Casey a few weeks ago. I made these "wedding bells" out of tissue paper and them hung them from the ceiling over the food and the circle of guests. For info on how to make the wedding bells, click here. They are soooo easy, look great and are so cost effective. I changed two things...I added more sheets of tissue paper on the white ones, and I used a twist tie in the center instead of something prettier (didn't matter) and I kept what I trimmed off of the edges to scatter at the back of the table to add color on the white tablecloth.
Here is the cake I made: creamsicle color so it fit her color
scheme, but still not as bright as her orange.
She's saved these wedding bells to use at her outdoor ceremony, but I think we will need more! :)
I loved the idea of asking guests as they walked in to start thinking of their favorite memory they have shared with the Bride. Once they did, they'd write it down on the cards I had quickly created and then they put it in the vase. The plan is to put all of the pictures I took and these memories listed by her friends and put them together in a book she can always have with her.
