Dan and I had worked it out to have a four day weekend this weekend to go on a mini-trip with some friends. We heard last week that they needed to reschedule this trip for later in August. Initially, we thought about just working and saving our two days of vacation for a later time. That lasted about a minute and then we started thinking of places to venture to, just the two of us! We had been talking about doing a small romantic vacation in September anyway, to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. (Yes, Mom, still coming out to Seattle in September...No worries!) So yesterday we were thinking we should keep the time off we have had scheduled, have this be our "1 year" trip away....now where to go?
LAS VEGAS!!!!!
We booked a trip to Vegas last night! We leave for Detroit Friday night and fly out very early Saturday morning. We are staying at the MGM Grand Signature Tower with the very fun looking pools! Last time we were there, we stayed off strip- so this will be different! We leave Vegas Tuesday afternoon! Yay!!! Can't wait!!!
Now....I have to focus on getting my work done before we leave! :(
