We have been taking care of the house for Duane while he's been soaking up the sun in Arizona. My job has been to take care of the plants. Dan's job was to burn the brush and leaves outside. The only difference between my job and his is that his was assigned to him like a few years ago. :) Huh, Dan! Last weekend, we went over to take care of things. We walked out onto the back deck to find these two poor little birdies :( . I took their pictures and named them Jack and Jill.
Here's me just after finding Jack and Jill.

Moving on....Then we started the burn....
Yeah, I helped. When do I get Lieutenant?!
The final result. Whew!!
When Duane comes back, he'll be giving Dan a new task to take care of....Hmmm, helping clear out the pole barn maybe?!?
What happened to Jack and Jill?
ReplyDeleteBurned in the fire? =(
